Black Sea Security Forum

The Black Sea Security Forum is the largest international security platform dedicated to developments in the Black Sea region. Each year, the forum brings together politicians, diplomats, business leaders, and experts to discuss current regional challenges and explore strategic solutions.

The inaugural forum took place in 2024, bringing together more than 350 participants from various countries in Odesa. Among the speakers and distinguished guests were Luke Coffey, Senior Fellow at the Hudson Institute (USA); Tony Abbott, Prime Minister of Australia (2013–2015); Michael Ryan, former U.S. Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense for Europe and NATO; Kurt Volker, U.S. Special Representative for Ukraine (2017–2019); Brooks Newmark, Member of the UK Parliament; and others.

Following the success of the first event, the NGO team began preparations for the Black Sea Security Forum 2025 in Odesa. The second forum gathered more than 750 participants from around the world while maintaining its mission — to create the largest platform for dialogue and cooperation among global leaders. Among the keynote speakers and guests were Scott John Morrison, the 30th Prime Minister of Australia; Valeriy Chaly, Ambassador of Ukraine to the United States (2015–2019); and Mike Pompeo, the 70th U.S. Secretary of State.

Currently, Vy.Mova is organizing the third annual Black Sea Security Forum, scheduled for late spring 2026 in Odesa. This project is made possible through the support of donors, partners, and friends of the organization, including the Hepatica Foundation, Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung, Jarl Hjalmarson Foundation, International Renaissance Foundation, American Enterprise Institute, Atlantic Council, Razom for Ukraine, International Democracy Union, International Republican Institute, Danube Institute, Lord Ashcroft, and others.
